I sometimes quote this in lectures where a great many very dedicated and holistic people are present. As you can imagine, they gasp in horror at this statement; I look around for those who laugh when they hear that.

What on EARTH is "integrity"?

We have structural integrity of materials; if they are aligned, the same all over and inside, they are very strong.

So integrity as such can a very good idea - but the very essence of alignment can be a bad idea too, because it makes all things THE SAME.

Imagine there's a guy who thinks he's a complete idiot, a fool and a loser, and he then goes off and "acts with integrity" based on those ideas?

Do you know such people?

I certainly have met a few ...

So today's exercise is this.

Think of a situation in your life where, if you were to overcome integrity, the rest would indeed, become a piece of cake.

A circumstance, a place or a time where it would truly benefit you to for once, act entirely "out of character" and in doing so, achieve something marvellous?
